I am excited to learn about so many rich options for enhancing my teaching and student learning, but being by nature more technologically monogamous, I'm feeling scattered by the speed dating flurry. However, I am comforted that the Symbaloo link has everything saved just a click away for future reference.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Janet; the Symbaloo link is helpful for the future. I am still unsure if 1) my earlier comment posted and 2) how much maintenance is required to keep up a class website? Multiple hours a day? I LOVE writing in my planbook (seriously...it calms me down) and am aprehensive to have everything online. We have grades online and parents still don't check those. Am I really making life easier for myself or making my students less accountable in class due tot he fact they don't have to write anything down....it will all be on the webpage. Sorry for being sassy; my coffee hasn't yet kicked in!
DeleteAfter looking at EDMODO this morning, I like the idea but am overwhelmed with my web site already. I think that EDMODO may be an entire other summer/year for learning. There are so many dang cool sites out there.
