  2. I hope to create an online survey for parents and teachers about the CBCS Enrichment Program and to create a webpage for the CBCS Enrichment Program. I am not feeling very confident about my tech skills so I hope to get a lot of help from these wonderful teachers.

  3. I hope to organize all of my educational files onto Google Docs as well as learn more about the tools on Google Docs. I am also looking forward to starting a website and applying some of the websites I found today to some existing lessons.

  4. I definitely appreciate having work time during class. Today, I created a new google account for my educational life. I reorganized many files on my hard drive and my desktop, and deleted unused files, photos, programs, etc. That was about enough for me today. I loved having the opportunity to explore available resources and am looking for usable websites and application for primary school. My goals for tomorrow are to work in depth with a story publishing site and become familiar with its features and usability. I will create a story integrating multiple content areas, focused on the 4 seasons.

  5. I feel pretty thrashed after a day of learning about new tech tools. For me, I think smaller chunks of more structured time with specific tools would be helpful as I am not apt to push my comfort zone unless I'm forced to :-)

  6. Rhonda and I are working to put together a team teach lesson on Paul Revere. We are going to incorporate Blabberize, QR Code, PowToons, Timeline, Google Map, Google Forms and anything else we want to include.

  7. I would like another day of well-balanced teacher presentations, discovery time, and time to work on our lesson plan. Lisa and I are working together to create a week long unit on Paul Revere. We are incorporating Timeline, Google Map, Google Forms, Blabberize, Powtoon, QR Reader, and anything else we may still learn.

  8. My needs are exactly what we have done today! --- and that's exciting, however embarrassing it is to admit how much I do not do on Google apps. My work with Google has been presentations and writing reports with students; after learning those procedures, the rest of the apps have been ignored. I also work on a MAC with school work and only work on this PC during the summer.

  9. I need to get all my passwords to be the same for Pinterest & Kahoot. Then I can put all the tools I want to use in one place. So many tools. . . need to choose one to try each quarter.

  15. HI,
Thanks for all of your patience and kindness today! I am excited to create a powtoon to introduce myself to students at the beginning of the year. Also, I'd like to focus on a thinglink on the book A view From Saturday. So excited about newsela, wow, I can find articles that follow our curriculum and challeng GT students with the higher level reading articles. Very cool. I'm loving this class!

  17. I am so slow at this!!!!!! Thank you for the time to practice in class with peer help. It is really helpful to look at others work and get ideas. If I was by myself, I think I would have stopped by now. Onto WIX and then make some google docs.....I think.

  19. I am also realizing that I have been posting in the March blogs instead of June. Yes, my brain has officially shut off. I will work on that today. ;)

  20. Ready to start exploring newsela.com-- I'm not sure what the capabilities are beyond just reading the articles. I'm sure they are there but I keep running into either a freeze up or dead ends.
